ABU DHABI, March 18 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday warned that targeting energy facilities associated with Iran's South Pars gas field poses a threat to global energy security as well as to the security and stability of the region.

The UAE stressed that any attacks on critical energy infrastructure risk disrupting international markets and escalating regional tensions, calling for restraint and the protection of vital facilities. ■
