The province's ecological conditions have been improving thanks to systematic conservation of the natural environment, overall management of the rural environment, and implementation of a mechanism which holds officials accountable for the preservation of rivers and lakes. May 19 marks the opening of "Liaoning Day" theme event at the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition.
